Changing Fan Speed

In addition to changing your unit’s set temperature and mode, you can also adjust your unit’s fan speed. We recommend keeping your fan speed set to “Auto” as this will allow your unit to automatically adjust fan speeds to reach your set temperature. The further away the room temperature is to your set temperature, the faster the fan speed.

To adjust your fan speed, simply press the fan speed indicator on your thermostat home page to cycle through your options:

Off

Low fan speed

Medium fan speed

High fan speed

Advanced Settings

Setting a Temperature Offset (Certified HVAC technicians only)

If the thermostat is in an area of the suite that is colder or warmer than the rest of the home, you can offset the thermostat’s temperature reading to compensate. Before you adjust this setting, you will need a thermometer to measure the temperature near the thermostat, and again in a room that feels similar to the rest of the suite. The difference in temperature
is what you need to offset the thermostat at.

To offset the thermostat temperature:

  1.  Press the gear icon at the top right of the thermostat to enter the settings menu.

  2.  Select “Installer Setup” from the options menu. Enter the default passcode of 123456 and press “OK”.

  3. Press “Temperature” from the list of settings on the left-hand side of the screen.

  4. Use the arrows to adjust the “Temp. Calibration” settings to the desired offset.

  5. Press the “Home” button at the top right corner of the screen to return to the thermostat home page.
