Navigating Your Unilux Pro AM Thermostat
There are six buttons on the Unilux Pro AM Thermostat. Listed below are the buttons and their respective commands.
Menu: Choose and select display parameters manual mode
Multi-Function (MF): Manually choose and select various operating modes
Escape: Undo, exit/back to home screen
Down: Scroll down through list or go to next parameter
Up: Scroll up through list or go to next parameter
OK: Accept choice on display

Customizing Your Thermostat Display
You can set the date and time on your thermostat and switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit by entering the settings menu. Note that you will be taken through each of the following settings as a singular flow of options.
Start by pressing the menu button to enter the settings menu.
Choose your desired temperature unit – Celsius or Fahrenheit. Use the Up & Down buttons to make your choice and press OK.
Choose between a 12-hour or 24-hour clock. Press the Down button to select a 12-hour clock or press the Up button to select a 24-hour clock. Press OK.
Enter the year by pressing the Up & Down buttons and press OK.
Select the month by pressing the Up & Down buttons and press OK.
Choose the date by pressing the Up & Down buttons and press OK.
To set the time, first select the hour by using the Up & Down buttons and press OK. Then, select the minutes by using the Up & Down buttons and press OK.
To select the day of the week, use the following guide to match each day with its corresponding number. Use the Up & Down buttons to select the appropriate number and confirm by pressing OK.

Note: You can change your settings at any time by repeating these steps.
Changing Temperature
To adjust the temperature:
1. Press the MF button once
2. Press OK.
3. Use the up and down arrows to set your desired temperature.
4. Press OK again to confirm.
Changing Operating Modes
Your thermostat has three basic modes of operation: heat, cool, and off. You can set your desired mode by pressing the Multi-Function (MF) button as follows:
To enter heating mode, press the MF button 8 times, then press OK to confirm.
To enter cooling mode, press the MF button 9 times, then press OK to confirm.
To fully turn off your system, press the MF button 11 times, then press OK to confirm.
Changing Fan Modes
Your thermostat controls three different fan speeds for your HVAC unit (low, medium, high), plus a fourth automatic mode. You can adjust your fan speed as follows:
Automatic (recommended): Your system will automatically adjust fan speeds depending on the difference between room temperature and the temperature setpoint. To set to auto mode, press the Multi-Function (MF) button 4 times then confirm by pressing OK.
Low: Press the MF button 5 times, then confirm by pressing OK.
Medium: Press the MF button 6 times, then confirm by pressing OK.
High: Press the MF button 7 times, then confirm by pressing OK.
Note: Unilux HVAC units equipped with an integrated ERV system constantly run on low speed to circulate air through the ventilators, even when the set temperature has been reached.
Scheduling a Program
The Unilux Pro AM thermostat allows you to program a unique schedule for your HVAC to run each day of the week. Each day allows for 4 separate temperature setpoints, ideal for saving energy while away at work or overnight while sleeping.
To set a schedule:
Press the Multi-Function (MF) button 12 times to reach Program 1.
Using the Down button, select which setpoint you’d like to schedule (1 through 4).
Using the Up button, select the day (Sunday-Saturday) you want to adjust, then press OK.
Use the Up and Down buttons to select the desired time for the program to start- Set up the hour first, then press OK. Set up minute (in ¼ hour intervals) and confirm with OK.
Adjust the heat temperature set point by pressing Up or Down, then press OK.
Adjust the cool temperature set point by pressing Up or Down, then press OK.
Repeat these steps for each desired program you’d like to schedule.
To activate the schedule you have just created, press the MF button 3 times and confirm by pressing OK.
To Pause a Schedule:
You can set a Permanent or Temporary Hold to pause your scheduled program.
Permanent Hold (P Hold): Indefinitely pauses your schedule until you revert back to Schedule Mode. To set, press the Multi-Function (MF) button once, then confirm by pressing OK. You will be prompted to select your desired set temperature with the Up & Down buttons and confirm once more with OK.
Temporary Hold (T Hold): Overrides your temperature settings until your next scheduled program starts. To set, press the MF button once, then confirm by pressing OK. You will be prompted to select your desired set temperature with the Up & Down buttons and confirm once more with OK.
You can reactivate your schedule at any time by pressing the MF button 3 times and confirming with OK.
Vacation Mode
When leaving your home for an extended period of time, we recommend setting your thermostat to Vacation Mode to reduce energy use and maintain safe indoor temperatures while you’re away. This mode will allow you to run your thermostat at one consistent temperature for a set period of time, without having to overwrite your scheduled programs. To enter Vacation Mode:
Press the Multi-Function (MF) button 10 times to enter the Vacation Mode settings
Use the Up & Down buttons to select the year your Vacation starts. Confirm by pressing OK.
Use the Up & Down buttons to select the month your Vacation starts. Confirm by pressing OK.
Use the Up & Down buttons to select the date your Vacation starts. Confirm by pressing OK.
Use the Up & Down buttons to select the hour your Vacation starts. Confirm by pressing OK.
Use the Up & Down buttons to select either Heat or Cool mode. Confirm by pressing OK.
Use the Up & Down buttons to set your desired temperature. Confirm by pressing OK.
Use the Up & Down buttons to select the year your Vacation ends. Confirm by pressing OK.
Use the Up & Down buttons to select the month your Vacation ends. Confirm by pressing OK.
Use the Up & Down buttons to select the date your Vacation ends. Confirm by pressing OK.
Use the Up & Down buttons to select the hour your Vacation ends. Confirm by pressing OK.
When your Vacation Mode ends, your regular Schedule will automatically resume, if one has been programmed.
